The Tourists

Hamburg, June 2020

In times of a pandemic a weekend journey to Hamburg Germany feels already like a great adventure. The piers along the river Elbe were packed with people. Everyone was enjoying the relaxations of the lock down rules and the fabulous weather. For sure, the feeling of a crowed city is mostly generated by the long time of separation and the lack of social interactions over the last months. 

The photography was taken down at a stairway from the harbour area towards the amusement quarter St. Pauli. The couple, most likely tourists, gave the scene the life it deserves and they relived the photography from a stiff static appearance and some beautiful boringness.
